If you’ve heard it once, you’ve heard it twice. Why did the chicken cross the road? I crossed the road from public to charter only to be revealed that it was the other side of the same coin or worse. My son has an IEP and the charters promise you more, yet what they really want are the enrollment dollars that your public school represents. My son has been tossed around like a rag doll in a system that cannot help me and I have little choice because I cannot afford to move into a zip code with better test scores. I feel defeated.
